Áine McSweeney

I am a Solicitor at HOMS Assist and joined in the firm in 2004.

Specialising in personal injury cases, representing clients in the Circuit Court and High Court and dealing with Personal Injuries Assessment Board cases.  I have a particular passion for securing the best outcomes for people with medical negligence cases, having a specialist diploma in healthcare law. Experienced and active in securing assistance for recovery for clients, I pursue fairness in all personal injury claims, including road traffic accidents, serious injury claims, medical negligence, product liability, catastrophic injury, accidents abroad, employer liability, and public liability claims.

I assist clients who have suffered injury and loss as a result of an accident or medical negligence. I listen carefully to the account of events, so as to be able to provide my clients with practical and impartial advice. Many of the clients I have acted for have sustained serious and in some cases life-altering injuries. I have achieved successful outcomes in numerous cases that has made an enormous difference to the quality of life of my clients and their families. I am aided by my secretary Sarah, who provides an outstanding professional service.

I enjoy socialising, relaxing with friends and travelling to and experiencing different areas of the world.

I would like to thank Áine McSweeney and her team for the professional and efficient way my case was handled.

The support I was given and the empathy shown to me made a very upsetting event easier to deal with.

Áine patiently and thoroughly explained every step - none of my questions were left unanswered.

I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and above all courteous manner in which they handled everything.

Recently my family and I experienced a very traumatic situation.  I contacted HOMS Assist for advice and was introduced to Áine McSweeney. From that moment, we were put at ease.
