Professional Profile: Championing Justice for Workplace Accident Victims

At the heart of HOMS Assist’s legal team, I stand as a dedicated advocate for those affected by workplace accidents. My blend of scientific acumen and legal expertise has carved a niche for me in personal injury law, with a focus on industrial accidents and diseases. Holding a science degree alongside my law degree from the University of Limerick, I possess a deep understanding of the technicalities and impacts of industry-related cases.

With over a decade of experience in litigation, I’ve earned a formidable reputation for taking on challenging cases and securing victories for my clients. This includes a wide range of situations, from fatal and catastrophic injuries resulting from industrial accidents to complex industrial disease cases. I am particularly recognised for my expertise in handling asbestos-related disease cases and traumatic brain injuries, ensuring that injured employees receive the justice and support they deserve.

One of my most notable strengths is my commitment to achieving fairness for employees who have suffered due to employer negligence. This dedication extends beyond the courtroom, as I actively learned Polish to offer a more personalised service to clients within the Polish community, enhancing the value I bring to those I represent.

Outside of my professional life, I find joy and balance in spending time with my family, actively supporting local charities, and being a passionate fan at hurling and rugby matches. Additionally, as an avid Crossfit competitor, I embody the resilience and determination I advocate for in my legal practice.

My impact is best illustrated through the stories of those I have helped. A poignant example is the case of Tanya, who sought HOMS Assist’s support after the tragic loss of her husband in a road traffic accident while he was on duty for An Post. Despite challenging circumstances, including the absence of a bicycle helmet and a witness statement suggesting an unavoidable collision, I fought tirelessly for Tanya and her twins, securing a settlement that recognised their loss and pain.

At HOMS Assist, I am not just a legal professional; I am a dedicated partner in the pursuit of justice and fairness for victims of workplace accidents. My unique combination of expertise, empathy, and unwavering commitment to my clients positions me as a leading figure in personal injury law, particularly in cases of industrial accidents and diseases.
