Maria Elizalde

Maria Elizalde brings a unique blend of life experience, legal expertise, and a deep understanding of people to her role in the Plaintiff Department at HOMS Assist.

Originally from Argentina, Maria began her legal career specialising in criminal law after graduating from the University of Buenos Aires. She taught law at university level and practised criminal law before transitioning to commercial law. These experiences gave her a strong foundation in advocacy, problem-solving, and navigating complex legal systems.

Three years ago, Maria relocated to Dublin, embracing a new chapter both personally and professionally. Before entering the Irish legal sector, she worked as a waitress, a role she credits with teaching her invaluable lessons in customer service, empathy, and the importance of clear communication.

Now, at HOMS Assist, Maria focuses on personal injury cases, helping clients who’ve been through difficult and often life-changing experiences. She’s known for her approachable manner, her ability to listen, and her commitment to guiding clients through the legal process with care and clarity.

Outside of work, Maria is a passionate reader and an animal lover. Her international background and diverse experiences make her a relatable and reassuring presence for clients navigating unfamiliar legal territory.

Maria’s goal is simple: to make sure every client feels heard, supported, and confident that their case is in safe hands.
