Professional Profile

I am a dedicated Probate Solicitor with deep-rooted knowledge in wills, probate, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and especially in managing cross-border estates between Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Since embarking on my legal career in 2009, my focus has been on offering not just legal advice but genuine support in the realms of wills, probate, and trusts. My education, including an LLB in Law and European Studies from the University of Limerick and a STEP Diploma in Administration of Trusts and Estates in England and Wales, has equipped me with a unique insight into international estate planning and cross-border estate intricacies. This dual qualification in Ireland and England enhances my ability to serve you with a comprehensive understanding of these issues.

Joining HOMS Assist in 2017 marked a significant milestone in my career, building on my experiences with a leading private client team in the UK. My role has allowed me to further refine my skills and offer in-depth guidance on inheritance tax planning, the establishment and management of trust structures, and the delicate handling of contentious issues such as inheritance claims, will disputes, and trust disputes. My approach is always with sensitivity and resolve, acknowledging the emotional weight these matters carry for my clients.

As a proud member and current Committee Member and Member Secretary of the STEP Ireland branch of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), I am committed to upholding the highest standards in family inheritance and succession planning. This global professional association is a testament to my dedication to the field and to continuous learning.

My commitment to you is to make the legal process clear, efficient, and as straightforward as possible. I strive to provide practical advice and achieve the best outcomes, ensuring that your legal needs are met with the least amount of stress. My dedication to exemplary client service is recognized by my peers and is evident in my high-profile professional roles.

Specialising in Probate Solicitor services, Cross Border Estates, and Inheritance Tax Planning, I am here to support families and individuals through the probate process with empathy, expertise, and efficiency.

If you’re navigating the challenges of cross-border estate planning or seeking guidance on probate matters, please reach out. Let’s work together to ensure that your or your loved one’s wishes are respected and that the process is approached with the utmost care and professionalism.
