I may not be able to meet you or my fellow Homsters at the office but I can have things in my ‘for now’ office that bring me joy - some bright Easter flowers. Stay safe to our HOMS Assist clients and keep smiling, this too shall pass.

This is my first experience of working from home. I structure my day as I would if I was in the office.
Melanie
My name is Melanie Power and I am a Legal Executive in our Cork Office. This is my first experience of working from home. I structure my day as I would if I was in the office. I set out my schedule for the day and the that work needs to be done. I have the benefit of working with two screens which is of great assistance for the nature of my work. Our Cork office is paper light which means everything that comes in by post is scanned up to our case management system so I have access to everything I need to do my work efficiently and effectively every day from home.
Some people have asked me do I miss working in an office environment? Do I find it lonely? my answer to this is no, I am lucky that I work with a great team. We are constantly in contact with one another as, we normally would be for work purposes, but also everyone is checking in with each other every day to make sure if everyone is doing okay. That has been a massive support system to me personally.
I am delighted to continue to serve HOMS Assist clients from my home.

Stay safe and well and together we will pull through this.
Jean
My name is Jean O’Connor. I am the manager of the material damage unit HOMS Assist. During these very unconventional times, my new office is in my dining room. Working remotely is a new challenge. Our IT Department and HOMS Assist have done a terrific job to make this happen so we can continue to provide service for our clients all over Ireland. There is no excuse to be late for work which makes the boss very happy! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries on 086 7900007. Stay safe and well and together we will pull through this. Jean.
The office is on our dining table and I am constantly in the house!

I moved in with the other half at the end of February on the understanding that I would rarely be in the house as I am always in the office. Three weeks go by and BAM! The office is on our dining table and I am constantly in the house! #StaySafe #StayatHome
