Alice Steen is the knowledge manger with HOMS Assist and plays a vital role in ensuring that our team is at the cutting edge when it comes to legal knowledge, skills and education. Alice added another string to her bow through the attainment of a level 9 qualification in online learning.
Part of Alice’s role is developing our learning and development supports to enable solicitors to further specialise and deepen their legal knowledge and business management skills. Alice commented:
“I was given the opportunity by Limerick Institute of Technology, where I lecture in law to a group of inspiring creative broadcast and music production students, to study for a level 9 qualification in online teaching. I was delighted to succeed in and receive that award, especially as we have adapted to online delivery of teaching to students during the pandemic. I am also studying a certificate in Technology Law with the Law Society of Ireland which goes hand in hand in developing state of the art online learning for our team.”
