I am a dual-qualified Solicitor at HOMS Assist who has, since 2009, specialised in the areas of wills, probate and trusts in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Before joining HOMS Assist in 2017 I worked at a top tier private client team in the UK. Given my background and training in both Ireland and England I have special insight into international estates, and in particular, cross border estate issues between England and Ireland.
I advise clients in relation to wills, probate, intestacy, powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning with particular expertise in the creation and operation of trust structures and cross border estates. Advising clients in contentious matters I successfully manage litigation cases for clients in a sensitive, realistic and determined way, dealing with inheritance claims, will disputes and trust disputes.
I am a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) a worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations. I am a Committee Member and current Member Secretary of the STEP Ireland branch.
Being very aware of the emotional and difficult times many clients are going through when I advise and handle their cases for them, I strive to give clear and practical advice and guidance in the most efficient, straightforward and sensitive way. I pride myself on facilitating the best outcomes for my clients whilst they progress through their legal journey in the easiest and most time, energy and cost-efficient way possible. My commitment to this ethos of client service is recognised through my high profile professional positions and holdings.
